Understand this: Developing diabetes is not a certainty. The Kronos Prediabetes Program is designed specifically to help you prevent or delay the onset of type 2 diabetes. Over the course of 14 weeks, you’ll learn what having prediabetes means, ways to lower your blood sugars and how to make healthy and doable lifestyle changes, including getting more physical activity and making smarter food choices.

And because being overweight is a key risk factor for diabetes, we guide you through our proven, common-sense approach so you can reach a healthy weight. Studies have shown that losing just 5-10 percent of your body weight (that’s as little as 9-18 pounds for a 180-pound person!) can lower blood sugar levels and improve your overall health.

“Going to class” couldn’t be easier, thanks to our live Web classes led by an experienced Kronos Health Educator trained in prediabetes and diabetes prevention. Week after week, you’ll receive expert, personalized education, plus the friendly support of your group members – giving you the tools and the confidence you need to make changes that last!
