Since 2005, WorldatWork, a human resources association, has offered on-site wellness programming provided by Kronos Optimal Health Company.

The Kronos Challenge:
Because the Kronos program had been offered for some time, many employees had embraced the benefits of a healthier lifestyle, and had achieved significant weight loss. To maintain this trend of steady improvements in both health care costs and overall employee health, WorldatWork was ready to "take it to the next level" and asked Kronos to help.

With Kronos’ strategic programs targeting the population’s key risk conditions, the aggregate number of participants who are considered at risk declined 54% for hypertension and went down 30% for “lousy” LDL cholesterol since 2005. Fitness assessment results also showed significant improvement, with fewer at-risk participants in every category – step test (39%), flexibility (49%), sit-ups (21%), push-ups (58%) and wall sit (58%).

With the addition of new classes and activities, participation in the Kronos wellness program has risen – health coaching appointments alone increased by nearly 200% – and WorldatWork management continues to welcome every opportunity to move its employees in a healthier direction.
