Alicia Mitchell, FNP
Alicia Mitchell, APRN, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grambling State University and her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from Maryville University in St. Louis in 2020.
An Illinois native with roots in northeast Louisiana, Alicia brings more than 14 years of nursing experience across a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including six years as a nurse practitioner. She joined Kronos Health in the summer of 2022 and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner concentration at Walden University, with anticipated completion in early 2027.
Alicia primarily serves older adult and geriatric populations, providing post-acute, primary, and integrated care services. As a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, she is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care that supports the unique needs of each individual.
Her philosophy of care is centered on meeting people where they are in life. Alicia strives to tailor treatment plans to each patient's goals, needs, accessibility, and level of understanding, empowering them to actively participate in their healthcare journey. She is particularly passionate about mental health care and recognizes the importance of expanding access to quality services for individuals and communities in need.
Outside of her professional work, Alicia enjoys spending time with family and friends, creating art, traveling, and promoting the importance of self-care.
